SWSM conferences provide women of diverse ages and circumstances with the necessary information and tools to take control of their financial lives. The message of these one-day conferences is that it is never too early, or too late to learn about finances.
Along with hearing nationally renown speakers and leaders, attendees also have the opportunity to choose breakout sessions that match up with each attendee’s individual comfort level. Sessions are offered at the beginner, intermediate, and advance skill levels and are taught by area experts. A light breakfast and boxed lunch is served and the conference is FREE to all that attend. Registration is mandatory to reserve a seat at each conference.
Smart Women Smart Money was founded in 1999 by then Idaho State Treasurer Ron Crane. His vision and focus for this effort in his home state has led to over 35,000 women participating in the SWSM conference. We have heard countless stories of the positive impact of this conference — and we want to make sure we hear yours too! If you have a SWSM experience to share please email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The State Financial Officers Foundation is now working to advance this effort in multiple states including: Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
